My post on “What’s Customer Service Experience Like at Louis Vuitton?” is turning out to be my most commented post yet.
A couple of days ago, the first commenter, Anon, reacted to a recent experience of another LV customer. Today, Shareen picked up the story again related her own experience with LV, and offered useful info on how to make complaints. So, I’m plucking out the info from the comment page so that more people, or customers of LV, will know.
I just purchased a LV piece from the Champs-Elysees store in Paris while I was on vacation in August 07. I spent 1,370 euros which is the equivalent of almost $2,000 and there was slight scuff marks on the edges of my bag. Well, I contacted the Houston Galleria store upon return to the US and advised what took place. Long story short I spoke to Chevon too, Meeka, Eva, and ultimately Jennifer who is the North America Manager for LV. They refused to repair, exchange or refund my money. I suggest that we all get together and sue LV for poor business practices. Well, this is short because I am in the process of filing a complaint at the BBB in regards to this situation. I encourage all of you to complain to the BBB and use the LV address for Customer Relations. The website address to launch your complaint is www.bbb.org. If you paid for it using your VISA make them aware that you were sold a defective bag and the vendor is refusing to give you back your monies. With enough complaints LV could loose thier VISA privaleges eventually. I have started the process with my bank and they will end up in arbitration.

Ladies and Gents:
Feel free to contact the North America Customer Relations at 866/884-8866 and ask for Jennifer who is the North America Manager for Louis Vuitton. Be sure to send my regards too:) I would like for all of who have been impacted/duped to support each other by launching a class action suit against Louis Vuitton. What they are doing is not fair to thier customers. It’s not fair that Louis Vuitton can take our money but when we address a valid concern they turn the other way. I just opened an email account: lvcustomer@gmail.com in which I’m gathering information and contacting others in hopes to make each of us whole again. I don’t know about you but I’m out $2,000 and have defective bag!!!!
It really saddens me to hear customers getting bad service. I pray for the day that I get a good customer service experience at Louis Vuitton.

We had really bad experience with LV store located in King of Prussia, PA. That store treats customers different on color, race and language. The people in the store are rude and disrespect to us.
1. My wife is Chinese who speaks a little English. They have some associates speaking Chinese in the store , but nobody even asked my wife. An Asian associate served my wife only with English. Later on when there was a problem needed to be resolved, still nobody help my wife on language. It seems that they could take advantage of her in that way.
2. They don’t wrap merchandise in front of customer after checking out. That is my wife’s experience. My wife selected Louis Viutton hand bag and checked it out. It cost over $1000. An associate took the bag into back room for wrapping. 15 minutes later, the associate came back with box. After went home, my wife found there were cracks on the surface of the bag, looked like used. It’s not the one my wife selected. I don’t know if they wrap merchandise in back room for all of customers or just do that to my wife.
3. They were rude and disrespect to customer. On second day, my wife went back to the store and asked to switch another one. A manager said “No!”. At that time, my wife called me to talk to the manager. The manager said “that bag is not ours. It’s used. All of our bags are in 100% perfect condition”. The manager took another brand new bag to show my wife how it is in perfect condition. My wife was astonished because the bag in her hand looked like old one compared to the one in the hand of manager. The way they treated my wife like theft or cheater.
My wfie spent $1000 for insulting.
We love Louis Vuitton, but never go back to that store. We will posted our store to everywhere, especially Chinese community. This is dirty store!
